
	L'Oranger Overview L’Oranger is a traditional French restaurant situated on St James Street in Westminster. The venue serves the classics of French cuisine in accordance with its elegant and sophisticated interior. The Head Chef Laurent Michel has worked in Michelin awarded restaurants in France before he has decided to honour the L’Oranger with his expertise. The à la carte menu is based on seasonal and fresh ingredients, which allows the Head Chef and his fabulous team to be inventive and create new menus seasonally. The menu could include dishes such as langoustines and prawns on a skewer “en cocotte” with gnocchi à la provençale and black truffle, roast duck glazed with liquorice and spices served with a “gratin” of Swiss chard and litchis. The dessert menu is rich and presents pineapple tarte tatin with Bourbon vanilla flavour, ginger and ice cream. All dishes can be complemented with a wine from the international wine list. Especially designed for that purpose, all wines are also strong enough to stand alone. While the dishes served are well-prepared and mouth watering presented, one might get the idea that guests have to pay not only for the food but for the elegant interior as well. A glass-dome ceiling illuminates the classy dining room. Fresh flowers, starched linen and perfectly polished tableware are beautifully arranged by the uniformed waiting staff.
