![]() Kym's OverviewThe Kym’s restaurant offers great traditional food based on recipes from Beijing, Szechuan and Hunan. It is located on Wilton Road just a few minutes away from the Victoria Place Shopping Centre. The restaurant’s food has been enjoyed by many shoppers, but also by politicians, ambassadors and celebrities. Named after the maiden name of the owner’s grandmother, Kym’s has been established in 1985 and is still run by the same family with the same enthusiasm about food.
The menu of the restaurant is based on traditional recipes that have been passed on in the family for generations. The family has also travelled throughout the Orient, tasting and interpreting new dishes, flavours and textures. They have combined their new culinary ideas with their traditional ones and created a fabulous menu. Among the guests’ favourites are dishes like the turreted fried prawn Peking style, vegetarian stewed mutton and stir fried pork string in hot sauce. A well chosen and complementary wine list features wines from Europe and the Old World with the house wine offered for £ 3.95 per glass.
The atmosphere of Kym’s is more than welcoming. By entering the restaurant, you become a part of the family. The owners and staff are friendly and warm and treat every guest with respect. Long tables ideal for large parties as well as intimate tables for two make the restaurant ideal for groups, couples and families. It is open from Monday to Friday from 12:00 – 15:00 and 17:30 – 23:00 hrs and on Saturday from 17:30 – 23:00 hrs. It is closed on Sunday. |
