![]() Viva Goa OverviewThe Viva Goa restaurant was created to pay homage to the wonderful dishes of Goan cuisine, India. Located on Westow Hill in Crystal Palace, the restaurant provides its guests with a fantastic journey across India and leaves them with a memorable dining experience.
The meals at the Viva Goa are prepared with the finest and freshest ingredients only. Every dish is prepared with attention to detail, traditional cooking techniques and passion. Since the dishes are prepared separately, they can take a little longer than normal, but as soon as you start to eat your meal, you will see that it was worth the wait. The à la carte menu includes dishes such as green Goa chicken from Saliago in Goa cooked with fresh coriander and green chillies, tiger prawns simmered in the traditional way with coconut milk, sour fruit and palm vinegar and cubes of cottage cheese, draped in creamy tomato gravy brought to a pleasing pungency with fennel. The dishes are best complemented with a drink from the list. Both dishes and drinks are served at a reasonable price.
The interior of the Viva Goa is kept in cream and orange creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It further does not distract guests from the actual highlight of the visit – the food. While the Chef was awarded as Croydon Curry Chef of the year 2005, the waiting staff is also attentive, friendly and helpful with recommendations. Viva Goa usually attracts locals for lunch and dinner, but invites everyone to share a fantastic experience with the staff. It is open daily from 12:00 – 14:30 and 18:00 – 23:30 hrs.
Opening Times:
