![]() Bond Street OverviewOne of London’s most famous shopping streets, Bond Street is home to the crème de la crème of the world’s designer brands. The street is a luxury store heaven, with blue chip international flagships of stores like Hermes, Prada, Dior and Chanel dicing it up with heritage brands like Mulberry and Burberry. Striking storefronts and dramatic facades compete for visual attention and between the high volume of monied-up Mayfair locals, the visiting jet set and gawping tourists, it makes a suitably supercharged shopping experience if you have cash to flash.
Besides the obvious designer stores, the street is also the centre of sites of historical significance – there are more Royal Warrant holders than anywhere else in the city to be found on Bond Street, and it is home to Sotheby’s and Bonhams, two of the world’s oldest art auctioneers. The café and galleries at Sotheby’s are excellent and worth a perusal. Bond Street is also home to some huge names in fragrances and jewellery – Mikimoto, Chopard, Patek Phillippe and Asprey all call the street home.

I agree with Kevin. I LOVE Bond Street, if only to window shop and idle about.

It feels like you have been here before when walking done Bond Street, perhaps because you recognise all the shops and brands from movies you have seen. Definately worth a visit but make sure you take a credit card with a serious limit!
