La Residencia

Set on the edge of the beautiful mountain village of Deià in Mallorca, La Residencia is a dream of a hotel. Originally formed from two manor houses of the 16th and 17th century which have been lovingly restored and furnished with antiques, this is a place of charm, style, luxury and character. The surroundings at La Residencia are simply gorgeous with lush gardens and views of the hillside village, the surrounding mountains and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. La Residencia Rooms

There are 67 rooms, consisting of 36 individual and double rooms and no less than 31 suites of varying size and luxury. Bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated in traditional Mallorcan style, and many of the superior rooms have lovely high ceilings and four poster beds. Some of the suites have private swimming or plunge pools. All rooms are equipped to a high standard, with quality television, dvd player, free Wi-Fi access and mp3 player.

A recent addition at La Residencia is The Villa, deluxe self catering accommodation overlooking Deià to the beautiful Mediterranean. The Villa is on three levels with three double bedrooms, living room , dining room , kitchen, heated swimming pool and daily maid service. Guests may also make use of all the hotel facilities.

La Residencia Restaurants & Bars

El Olivo is the hotel’s gourmet restaurant - certainly one of the best in Mallorca. Offering exceptional local and international cuisine, El Olivo is also renowned for its ambience. The 16th century olive press makes fine dining by candlelight a very romantic affair.

There's a relaxed restaurant area next to the pool, while the Son Moragues terrace and bar offer a la carte meals, afternoon tea and snacks, as well as light meals and refreshments in a casual atmosphere. In cooler months, several fireplaces create a relaxed, peaceful environment.

La Residencia Facilities

The stunning spa was voted fourth best hotel spa in Europe 2009 and offers an indoor pool, gym, six treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and beauty salon. Two conference rooms, two tennis courts with resident coach and two outdoor swimming pools are on site. Many beautiful walks and jogging routes are nearby. Yoga sessions and breaks can also be arranged.
