
	Monnaber Nou Overview Monnaber Nou is an idyllic 260 hectare estate in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains in north Mallorca. The estate dates to the 13th century when Jaime I defeated the then Arab rulers and rewarded his supporters with gifts of property, and the name Monnaber reflects the past, meaning "Hill of Flowers" in Arabic. The old manor house complex has been carefully modernised and restored, with due regard to its original character, and the history of this peaceful place is reflected in the details and features which have been preserved. Monnaber Nou Rooms: Monnaber Nou offers a choice between twin and double rooms, suites, and apartments, all of which are individual and art decorated and furnished in traditional Mallorcan style. Modern comforts include air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, telephone, mini bar, private safe, wireless internet, and bathroom with hair dryer. Twins/doubles are around 23 sqm, suites are about 35 sqm and have a separate lounge area, while apartments offer cooking facilities, a living room, and a private terrace. Monnaber Nou Restaurants & Bars: The hotel restaurant is housed in the old dining hall and features panoramic views from its terraces. Selections can be made from the generous breakfast buffet, the daily three course menu, or the à la carte menu. The pool bar serves food, drinks, and ice cream through the day. Monnaber Nou Facilities: Guests have unlimited use of the health and fitness spa, which includes indoor and outdoor spa baths, steam room, two saunas, swimming pool, and fitness room, as well as a range of beauty treatments. The estate lends itself to walking, cycling, and horse riding in lovely surroundings.
