![]() Es Molí OverviewThe Tramuntana mountains are home to some of the most beautiful scenery in Mallorca and the old village of Deià has always lured artists of all kinds to set up their homes here, as have numerous well known people. Es Molí is just outside the village, on the Valldemossa road, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery and its own terraced gardens. Part of this hotel was a 17th century rural mansion, and the estate was converted into a four star hotel in 1965. Regular subsequent renovation has maintained Es Molí's reputation as a tranquil and comfortable refuge, while retaining an air of old Mallorca, blending beautifully with its setting.
Not the place to go to if you seek a vibrant nightlife with lots of entertainment - definitely the place to stay for peace, quiet, and relaxation in glorious surroundings. Es Molí Rooms: Fifteen double rooms and one single are in the annex, which is on a higher part of the property with spectacular views, but accessible by steps; the rest of the 87 rooms are in the main building. Various combinations of double rooms, singles, and suites are available, most with terraces or balconies, and all are equipped with air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, DVD player, telephone, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, and bathrooms with hair dryer, bathrobe, slippers, and toiletries. Es Molí Restaurants & Bars: The Restaurant Buganvilia is in the main hotel building while the Restaurant Ca’n Quet, one of the best known in the area, is a few hundred metres away in the lower part of the property, and opens for special events such as conferences, weddings and other celebrations. Es Molí Facilities: A stay at Es Molí is more about relaxation than activity, but there are many hillside paths to explore, as well as the narrow alleys of Deià village. At certain times of the year, the hotel offers a package of four walks per week, including a restaurant lunch, and yoga classes are also available. Tennis and swimming are catered for on site, and Es Molí operates a free coach service to the exclusive cove Sa Muleta, where you can swim in the clear Mediterranean waters. Change rooms, snorkelling equipment, sun loungers, and a snack bar are all available here.
