
	La Posada del Marqués Overview West of the village of Esporles, in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca, lies the beautiful Es Verger valley. The finca La Posada del Marqués is situated at 510 metres on the slopes of La Fita del Rams, a position which presents breathtaking views down to the valley and to the south of the island to the capital city of Palma, only 25 minutes away by car. This 16th century manor house was converted to a rustic four star hotel in 1993, and completely renovated in 2005, retaining the original character by carefully blending original architectural forms with functionality and comfort. La Posada del Marqués Rooms: The 17 rooms at La Posada del Marqués cover the whole range from singles to deluxe suites and are all individual in style and decoration, with great attention to detail. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, heating, plasma TV, CD and DVD player, telephone, mini bar, safe, and private bathroom. Suites and deluxe suites have a large separate living room and a terrace, and most of the rooms enjoy excellent views. La Posada del Marqués Restaurants & Bars: Many restaurants in Mallorca carry the name Sa Tafona because they have been created in the olive oil mills of old properties. They are often imbued with a warm and special character, and this one is no exception. The olive pressing mechanism has been retained to provide a link to the room's history, and the overall presentation is rustic, yet sophisticated. In good weather, meals are served on the terrace which has fantastic views of the bay of Palma. Both set menus and à la carte selections are available, and the cuisine features fresh Mallorcan produce and herbs and vegetables from the hotel gardens. La Posada del Marqués Facilities: This hotel is all about peace, relaxation and serenity, and the facilities are in accordance with this.
