Neptuno Hotel

The Neptuno holds a stunning position right on the beachfront of the magnificent Playa de Palma in Mallorca - only a low traffic local road and the promenade separate the hotel from the clear blue Mediterranean waters. This resort hotel is seasonal, being open only between March and October. Apart from being very central to a host of restaurants, bars, and attractions of all kinds, the Neptuno is only 15 minutes from the airport, and only a little more to Palma itself. There are bus stops right outside the hotel for trips into Palma and further afield and the more active can walk or cycle along the promenade right into Palma city.

The 6 kilometre Playa de Palma has fine white sand and is well served with lifeguard services, showers, beach equipment, and balnearios for drinks and snacks.

Neptuno Hotel Rooms

There are 114 rooms at the Neptuno, with 3 suites and 5 junior suites, and most of the rooms have sea views. The standard double rooms all have terraces with double glazed windows, air conditioning, heating, satellite TV with radio channels, telephone, mini bar, safe (unusually, this is free), armchairs, smoke detectors and card activated security locks. The complete bathroom has two washbasins, a telephone and hair dryer.

The superior doubles/junior suites are similarly equipped, but additionally have an integrated lounge with sofa, and a jacuzzi bath and separate shower. The suites have a separate lounge area.

Neptuno Hotel Restaurants & Bars

The large restaurant serves buffet meals inside and on the outside terrace and caters for special diets. The chef does show cooking, creating a variety of dishes in front of guests. Formal dinners are held twice a week, as are champagne breakfasts.

Right on the beach is a bar-café offering drinks and meals from the menu.

Neptuno Hotel Facilities

The main attraction at the Neptuno must be the beach and the sea, but there are also plenty of facilities at the hotel itself. However, travellers should note that there is no parking available at the hotel, and finding a space in the area can be difficult.

Like many hotels in this area, the hotel caters especially for cyclists with special secure storage areas, cleaning and repair facilities, and free fruit and water for cyclists daily.
