Palma International Boat Show Overview
It was announced at the beginning of March that this year's boat show has been cancelled due to a shortage of exhibitors - another casualty of the economic crisis.
Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the Balearic Islands, presents its annual International Boat Show (Saló Nàutic) for the 29th time. There could hardly be a better location for a boat show - in the heart of the Mediterranean, the home of over 25 000 leisure boats, and a favourite destination for 50 000 visiting boats every year, the Balearics are a major economic and social centre for leisure boating.
All kinds of vessels on display from kayaks to floating palaces, plus equipment, accessories, fishing and diving gear, in fact pretty much everything with a marine connection.
The exhibition will be open from 10:00 to 20:00 with small entry fee, reduced for youngsters.
