
	115 The Strand Aparthotel Overview 115 The Strand is a combination of hotel rooms and self-catering apartments. The building has recently gone under a general renovation exercise and now comprises a total of 39 rooms and 44 apartments. 115 The Strand is located across the coastal promenade that joins Sliema and Gzira overlooking Marsamxett harbour with views of the capital city, Valletta. While being within walking distance of Sliema’s centre with its restaurants, shops and cafes, a reliable public transport service stops just outside the hotel, practically linking it with the rest of Malta. The foyer is a highlight of the hotel. It is elegantly designed with a large colourful mural providing the ideal backdrop for a relaxing space and the area is also large enough to host sizeable functions. 115 The Strand Aparthotel Rooms: Divided into self-catering apartments and hotel rooms, 31 out of the 82 total units offer sea views and are all fully air conditioned and centrally heated, with a range of convenient amenities. Spacious and comfortable, each is well kept, providing daily service and a change of linen every 3 days. All self-catering apartments come complete with cooking facilities, fridge and a full set of cutlery and crockery. 115 The Strand Aparthotel Restaurants & Bars: Giulio’s restaurant and bar have been recently refurbished. Located on the top floor, they offer a variety of snacks during the day and a dinner service in the evening with fantastic views of Marsamxett Harbour and the Valletta bastions. The restaurant is also popular with locals especially during the summer season and residents are required to book to be guaranteed a table. A lobby bar in the foyer is also open 24-hours a day throughout the year with live entertainment organised once a week. 115 The Strand Aparthotel Facilities: At the panoramic top floor roof garden, a swim-spa is exclusively available for guests. There is also a games room to keep children entertained, and a bookshop on site where you can buy something to keep you occupied while you lounge in the sun. An internet cafe is also available next to the lobby area.
