
	Point de Vue Guesthouse Overview The Point de Vue Guesthouse is a great find for lovers of history, culture, dining and the Maltese countryside. Point de Vue Guesthouse Accommodation: The Point de Vue has many stories of its own being housed in a 17th century building and having originally opened its doors as a guesthouse in 1889. It served as a control tower and accommodation for British pilots during World War II when it also suffered a fatal direct hit from a stray bomb. Through the meticulous efforts of today’s Maltese-South African owners, many features have been restored to their original glory making it a truly unique accommodation. The relatively recent conversion works includes walls having been stripped back to their original stonework. The spacious twelve twin and double rooms available at the Point de Vue feel fresh and clean. Most have panoramic views of the surrounding countryside all the way down to the Mediterranean sea in the distance. The rest overlook the historic Mdina bastions and skyline.
