
	Balco Hostel Overview Balco Hostel Malta is a top notch family run accommodation that encompasses Balco Harmony (a sharing dorms hostel) and Balco Symphony (single room residence). The two premises are situated in Gzira just a few metres from each other and both offer super value accommodation in clean and modern surroundings just a couple of minutes drive from the entertainment and commercial resorts of Sliema and St. Julians and from the University of Malta. Recommended for: International students at the University of Malta or one of the many surrounding English Language Schools that are after great value, comfortable, modern and central accommodation Balco Hostel Accommodation: Each dorm in the Balco Harmony Hostel has a maximum of 4 beds with their own private facilities (private toilet, shower and wash hand basin). Rooms are spacious and well equipped with reading lights over the beds, desk with nest of drawers and surge protection for electronics used on desk. All hostel rooms have balconies, some of which have distant sea views. The top floor room has a terrace and a lovely sea view of the grand harbour and mega yacht marina. Other standard room facilities include, safety deposit box, 90ltr fridge and satellite television at no extra cost. All 17 rooms in the Balco Symphony Residence are for single occupancy. The rooms are carefully designed and have the facilities of a 90 litre fridge, direct dialing telephone (VoIP) bilingual sat TV, radio and balcony or bay window. The Balco residence also has a roof terrace with distant sea views. All guests of the Balco Harmony Hostel and the Balco Symphony Residence can make use of the fully equipped kitchens including all kitchenware, and enjoy their own cooking in the dining room, which also serves as a T.V room with DVD player at no extra cost. All rooms are cleaned once a week, towels are changed twice a week and garbage is collected from the rooms. Heating and cooling facilities are available in certain rooms at an extra cost. WIFI and laundry service are also available at a minimal charge. The host visits the residence every day but the residence does not have a curfew and all residents are given a front door key and may enter the residence at any time. Balco Hostel Location: The Balco Hostel and Residence is situated just minutes away from the language schools in Sliema - Malta's no. 1 tourist area and shopping centre. Within a couple of minutes walking distance you will find the University Of Malta, shopping arcades, exchange bureaus, supermarkets, bars and internet cafes. Airport transfers are available at any time of day or night for only €12.00. Since the Balco Hostel does not have a 24 hour reception, the transport service is compulsory after 8.00pm.
