LWS Animal Park

The LWS Animal Park at the 'Razzett tal-Hbiberija' is part of the The Inspire Foundation – a non-profit centre helping children and adults with learning and physical disabilities in Malta and Gozo. The park, which is set over a generous area of naturally landscaped gardens, is the only animal sanctuary of its type on the Maltese islands and a great day out for the family.

The animals are kept in a natural setting and have been either donated to the LWS Animal Park or saved from difficult conditions. This is the only place in Malta sheltering mountain goats, emus, deer, llama and monkeys all in one centre. Rabbits roam freely and various bird species come and go as they please. The children will have a blast spotting, petting and feeding these beautiful creatures.

Other fun attractions within Inspire’s animal park is a miniature railway with a train hooting around the gardens – a firm favourite with children (and parents!). Climbing frames and a play area are also on site. On open-days horse-riding and go-karting for kids is organised. During Christmas the gardens are transformed into a magical enchanted forest and Santa Claus never misses his appointment to visit.

All the facilities at the LWS Animal Park are specially designed for easy access and for use by disabled.

Opening Times and Prices

Daily - 9.00am to 1.00pm (summer on weekdays only)

Entrance Fee - Adults and Children €3.00 each

All income from the park goes to maintain the facilities and animals, which are in turn used by Inspire’s disability programmes for therapy and recreation.
