Villa Romo Accommodation:

• Bedrooms: King-size Master bedroom 1 en-suite with direct terrace access. Wireless broadband connection (bring laptop).

• Bedroom 4 with twin beds plus a comfortable single sofa bed (movable).
• Bathrooms: En-suite shower room to bedroom one. Fully tiled with WC and hand basin.
• Large luxury family bathroom with full length bath with shower over, double hand basins, WC and bidet.
• Cloakroom shower with WC and hand basin.
• Kitchen: Large modern kitchen fully equipped for up to 10 persons. Ample storage and granite breakfast bar island and worktops. Equipment includes oven with grill, 4 x hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, juicer etc.
• Dining room: Extending Farmhouse table seating 6 - 10. Large corner open fire for logs in winter
• Lounge: Sky Sat. TV incl. BBC & ITV etc.Some CDs, videos and books provided. Comfortable sofa and chairs
• Kitchen. Add drinks fridge ( in addition to fridge/freezer)

• Changover day: Saturday is changeover day at busy times. We are flexible outside high season. Please ask if in doubt.

Villa Romo Facilities:

Villa Romo is cooled by electric fans in all rooms during summer months. In winter the log fire is attractive and cosy and electric radiators are provided.

Access is good directly from a tarmac country road and onto our concrete driveway which is steep. Off road parking for 4 cars/camper/caravan - please ask.

Well behaved dogs (2) are welcome to stay on the covered terrace. Wall bolts and fenced lockable area 10 x 4 x 2 metres high, behind the villa is provided. Please discuss your pets requirements before booking!

Welcome pack including hot and cold drinks and breakfast etc is provided.

Amenities/Facilities provided hob oven fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher washing machine.

Spacious, shady covered terrace with rustic brick arches. Faces South with good views. Accessed from kitchen, lounge and master bedroom. Seating/dining for 10 persons.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: All towels, pool towels and linen is provided. An extra set is provided for lets of 2 weeks or longer. The villa is professionally cleaned between lets. No maid service. iron/ironing board satellite TV,

room fans, cot, high chair, barbecue, private pool (for sole use of guests), pets accepted.

Villa Romo Location:

Swimming Pool 8 x 4 metres (not fenced off) with Roman steps and underwater light. Brick BBQ and tools. Poolside loungers x 10 provided. Poolside table, chairs and shades. Filtered and tiled to high standard. Depth 1 metre x

1.6 metres. Full lighting outside the villa. Gardens with palm trees etc.

Coast/Beach

The Mediterranean Coast is approx a 45 minute drive.

Torre Del Mar is the nearest beach - wide and sandy with an attractive promenade and many beachside eateries. Torre is a very Spanish resort with good fish and seafood bar / restaurants. Busy in August.

Nerja with its famous caves and beaches is a 1 hour drive.

Golf

The nearest golf course is Baviera Golf at Torre del Mar. Membership not required. 45 mins drive.

Skiing

The Sierra Nevada at Granada offer skiing from Dec to March most years. Granada city is less than 90 mins drive.

Exploring Andalucia: Villa Romo is the perfect rural location from which to visit the key sights on Andalucia. Malaga city, full of culture with great shopping, is just a one hour drive. Visit the castle and Picasso museum. Many good tapas bars too!

Granada and the Alhambra Palace is a must visit - and only 90 minutes by car. Also nearby is Antequera and Nerja, (incl. good beaches and famous caves) are less than a 1 hour drive.

Seville and Cordoba are around 2 hours by car - well worth the effort.

Town Facilities: Velez Malaga is a large market town where you will find all your shopping and leisure requirements including: Modern shopping centre and cinema complex, hospital, water park, bowling centre, horse riding on the beach nearby, cycle hire, boat trips from Caleta de Velez (local fishing port and marina) and eateries and entertainment to suit all tastes and ages. Velez is a 45 min drive.

Village Life: Comares is a very pretty and unchanged village with views to the coast. Narrow streets twist and turn steeply away from the main Plaza with its welcoming bar. Life is unhurried here. A bank with cash machine, good local shop with fresh produce, chemists, tobacconist and 6 bar/restaurants with good local dishes will make your holiday at Villa Romo a convenient place to stay.
