East of Marbella

Rio Real, Los Monteros, El Rosario, Elviria and Las Chapas

Marbella East is a large area that stretches from the edge of Marbella and heads in the direction of Malaga, all the way to Cabopino.
It encompasses different sections of the coast where you will find some great restaurants, bars and some beautiful houses, although, the area is low residential and very green with many golf courses and small forests dotted around.

Starting from Marbella you pass many different suburbs both on the beach side of the A7 (main road) and on the mountainside including Rio Real, Los Monteros, El Rosario, Elviria and Las Chapas; and every few hundred yards along the beach are chiringuitos and restaurants.

Properties along the east of Marbella stretch of the Coast vary widely to include luxurious and opulent villas, modern apartments and a little further from the beach, traditional quaint fincas and houses.

The beaches are very popular as the sand is more refined than on other sections of the Costa del Sol and there are not as many pebbles along the shoreline. The chiringuitos and restaurants that you find are some of the best in Marbella and come highly recommended by the My Guide Marbella team! These include Trocadero Arena, Bono BeachThe Beach House and Nikki Beach.

As well as the beach restaurants, the mountainside also offers a range of bars and restaurants specifically in Elviria and El Rosario but you can also find supermarkets, salons, schools, doctors, vets and much more.
