In the heart of Puerto Banus, El Gran Gatsby restaurant and lounge dance bar offers panoramic views of the port, exquisite Mediterranean cuisine and a chic atmosphere. The perfect combination of pleasure and elegance, El Gran Gatsby is open from 1pm until midnight ensuring you can spend hours enjoying the delights that the restaurant has to offer.

The inside restaurant boasts fantastic views of the marina and is modern and stylish in design while the open air terrace gives uninterrupted views of the sea and transforms from a dining area into the lounge dance bar where you can relax and enjoy the ambience. The lounge bar also has live music and DJ sessions on selected days and nights so you can enjoy a cocktail or two and dance the night away.

The kitchen is run by chef Nandu Jabany who created the avant-garde menu that has hints of true Andalusian flavours and includes dishes that are a unique take on the more traditional. The menu is varied and extensive with many different tastes ensuring that there is something for every diner. The light bites including cod fritters; oysters from the Galician coast and a selection of Iberian pork loin and spicy pork sausage are great for when you don't want a large meal while starters such as tuna tartar with guacamole and salmon roe; carpaccio of red prawns with spicy oil and white garlic sorbet; and foie gras and green apple terrine with Pedro Ximénez dessert wine jelly tempt your tastebuds and leave you in anticipation of the main courses.

Pasta and rice dishes, seafood, fish and meat dishes all feature heavily on the main course menu and you will be sure to return to the restaurant time and again to taste all the different culinary delights. The diverse selection includes "Spezzatino" chopped beef tenderloin sauteed with porcini mushrooms, fresh cream and balsamic vinegar served with fresh pasta; charcoal grilled lobster; octopus with mashed potatoes spiced with La Vera paprika; and crackling suckling pig with mango, pear and pineapple chutney.

The menu is accompanied by a wine list that includes 150 wines, which compliment the dishes perfectly.
