Following a successful period in very centre of Marbella Old Town, owners Jeff and Sylvia decided that their style of cuisine and restaurant concept, it's all about bringing groups of people together with these guys, was more suited to a much larger, more tranquil setting. So, they made the move to the spacious Finca, known as Casa Gecko Hacienda. Its concept is unique and Jeff's creative menus are a complete journey for the senses and may we add amazing value too.

Jeff describes his menus as Gourmet Mediterranean with flavours from all over the world, served in a Guerrilla style. It's not a static a la carte menu that is on offer here but an array of different dishes that are freshly prepared to suit your party and share together or, on one of their themed party nights you will see all the cuisine prepared in a particular style such as Mexican night, Italian night etc. The emphasis at Casa Gecko Hacienda is definitely freshness and the quality of the ingredients. Every dish is cooked with the freshest market ingredients that day and prepared to perfection by owner, highly experienced and well-travelled chef Jeff.

The dining experience is also a little different from that of other traditional restaurants. You need to book as a group with a minimum of 6 people and upon booking Jeff will confirm with you your own designer menu or if there are several bookings that day he will be able to tell you the array of dishes that will be available. The dining room area is set out with large long tables where guests can sit together and meet new people as they dine and the terraces are large and spacious, the ideal setting to unwind or to let your hair down! The concept could be described as culinary communication, with visitors to the restaurant arriving as strangers and leaving as friends. You can discover new tastes, meet new people and sample different exciting flavours - sharing your taste bud sensation stories as you eat!

Aside from the restaurant, Casa Gecko Hacienda now has the facilities for you to stay - either in their pretty separate apartment or for the more rustic experience, in the cabana. The apartment and cabana make for ideal accommodation for families or groups of friends who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busy coast and guest are welcome to use all the amenities such as the swimming pool, the kitchens and the terrace to relax on.
