	El Mexicano Banus Overview El Mexicano Banus opened it's doors in October 2011 and is serving authentic Mexican Food right in the heart of Puerto Banus. Located very centrally in front of El Corte Ingles it's easy to find and you can also enjoy easy parking in the nearby underground car parks. Local businessman and entrepeneur Miguel Gomez has taken on the restaurant and will surely bring his zest and flair for business to this venture together with the head chef and co-owner Alberto. The menu is an ecclectic mix of Mexican dishes that will tempt the taste buds and include an array of starters such as Guacamole, Nachos, Quesadillas, and Tacos while main course dishes include traditional and modern dishes such as salads, burgers, burritos, fish, fajitas, Mexican grilled meats. It's the ideal venue for large groups such as golfers on tour or stag and hen do's as both the kitchen and bar can accommodate large orders and the restaurant lends itself perfectly to those in the party mood!! There is also a children's menu available and a Mexican style Sunday Brunch! Head to El Mexicano Banus in winter on Thursday and Saturday nights for some great live music. Opening Times: Open for lunch and dinner from 12.00 Closed on a Monday and Sunday evenings

Finally!!!!

We have been looking for an authentic Mexican for the past 6 months and have been extremely disappointed as there are a number of places claiming to Mexican but none come close to El Mexicano Banus. Not only is the food great but the service from everyone was very attentive with just the right balance between seeing to our needs and not over doing it!! (Something I find very important). The Owner Miguel and his wife Rocio introduced themselves and shared a little insight into their vision for the new venture which we found to be a key element to the whole experience, after all if they don't have passion for the place how can we as customers!!! I have eaten in many Mexican places from street venders to traditional sit down restaurants and this place rates up there with the best of them. I recommend the soft tacos, simple but amazing!! Just the way they are meant to be... We will be back!!!
