![]() Solyanka Club OverviewClub Solyanka was officially opened in summer 2007 in Moscow, and immediately caused a keen interest in Moscow's nightlife crowd. It is located within a mansion that formerly belonged to a famous merchant by the name of Rastorguev.
Keira Grishina, the interior designer, has created an atmosphere that belongs to a past era, to give guests the feeling that they are in a historical place. Solyanka club stands out from other clubs in Moscow as it gives you the impression that you're at a party at someone's home. It does not target any specific clients...the cozy and comfortable surroundings may appeal to anyone. The furniture at Solyanka was specially bought from British antique shops and they immediately set the tone to the club. Comfortable leather sofas make you think twice before getting up for a drink from the bar...even though it is just a couple of steps away.
Solyanka club has three rooms and two bars with ample seating, making sure you find a comfortable place no matter when you visit...this is quite a rarity in other Moscow clubs. Each room has its own music and sound system with a great atmosphere.
Club days - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. These days, "Salsola" works as a club until 6am in the morning.
During the day the Solyanka club doubles as a restaurant bustling with waiters and serving a delicious and diverse menu of authentic Mexican, Mediterranean and even Thai cuisine. The restaurant operates on weekdays from 10 am to 6 am, and on weekends from 11 to 6 am.
Thursdays at Solyanka are dedicated to hip-hop party and on Fridays to techno by a prominent Moscow DJ. Saturdays may include disco, tech house, electronic rock, and sometimes a drum n 'bass - there is no exact timetable as every week something new is presented. Also on Thursdays, Solyanka club holds a party for expats, funk events, and sometimes reggae parties. With a specially installed system, Funktion One, the sound system is state-of-the-art and gorgeous.
The club is situated next to many of Moscow's popular attractions, including the Solianke gallery at the Museum of Moscow History, Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Face-control and dress-code are both applicable at the club. |
