The Novikov Restaurant Group with around fifty restaurants to its name in Moscow together with the reputable Italian wine house Antinori, combined to create this fine dining Italian restaurant in the centre of Moscow. Cantinetta Antinori is situated just five minutes from the pedestrian Old Arbat Street, behind the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building (one of the Seven Sisters).

With the backing of a prominent Russian group and 700 hundred year old family wine house, Cantinetta Antinori comes with a lot of promise – and it does not fail to deliver. The actual venue is beautiful with a lovely fresh summer veranda surrounded by trees and wicker furniture. The interiors take a more classical style with white picture-adorned walls and dark furniture. Needless to say that the crockery is first class.

The Cantinetta Antinori centre-piece is the open kitchen, expertly managed by Chef Marco Zamperi. The cuisine has a strong influence from the Italian region of Toscana, and the typical grace and gratitude to nature from the region are fondly presented in each dish. The bread, pastry and pasta are all made in-house ensuring the quality and genuine feel of the dishes, while the fish and meat are delivered directly from Italy including the unmissable 800 gram Bistecca Fiorentina (Florentine steak). Dessert specialities include a divine panacotta and a delicious tiramisu made by the confectioner who is also from Tuscany.
