Part of a special brand of fine dining, the Bolshoi restaurant has a unique concept in Moscow. Apart from the delicious Russian, French and Authored cuisine, the Bolshoi restaurant offers a wide display of modern art objects, photos and paintings including works of Dietrich Klinge, Isabel Munoz, George Pusenkoff, Juan Hernandez Pijuan, Pierre Soulage, and Antoni Tàpies.
The main hall of the Bolshoi restaurant is contemporary, bright and airy. It is furnished with elegant furniture by Ralph Lauren. This is a perfect place for business lunches and formal dinners. A smaller dining room has a more classical and intimate feel with wood panelling, muted lighting and leather cream and chocolate colour furniture. A great respite from the hustle and bustle of Moscow’s city centre.
The French award-winning chef at the Bolshoi restaurant, Kamel Benamar, previously worked at a number of Michelin rated restaurants, such as Le Fouquet’s Europe (one-star), then at London's famous Le Gavroche (three-stars), Le Poulbot and Daphne’s amongst others.
The Bolshoi restaurant opened its doors in 2009 to wide critical acclaim and is extremely proud of their unique art collection gracing the interiors. It is located at the crossing of Petrovka and Kuznetsky Most Streets. This is the very heart of Moscow, close to all of the city’s main landmarks and a stone throw away from the world-famous Bolshoi Theatre, hence its name.
The mouth-watering menu is attached above. A set menu is also available and a 20% discount is given during business lunch hours from 12.00-18.00hrs. Private parking is available for 15-20 cars. Main hall is no smoking. Take away is available.

The sweet table, an integral part of tea time, is offered at the Bolshoi restaurant on a daily basis from 15.00 to 18.00hrs. It is served at the majestic entrance of the restaurant. Price is 500 rubles and includes a selection of savouries and a choice of teas. The food includes a tempting table of sweet cakes, tarts, colourful eclairs, savoury pies, cookies and more. From a large Russian Samovar (traditional teapot) waiters pour aromatic tea for the Bolshoi’s patrons. A unique and peculiar bakery of Kamel Benamara - is a combination of Russian and French traditions in one dessert!
