Il Forno is an Italian restaurant situated in the heart of Moscow directly opposite the Central Department Store. Such a convenient location makes the restaurant a great place to rest and eat after hours of shopping or a long walk to the center of Moscow.

Il Forno serves the best of Italian cuisine. This includes a variety of delicious pizzas (cooked with firewood) and home-made pasta. Many other Italian dishes for starters such as carpaccio and salads as well as main dishes comprising of a number of fish and meat varieties are all available. Il-Forno also serves appetising homemade breakfasts and has some of the most delicious desserts in the city.

The kitchen’s real wood-burning stove, which is visible from the restaurant, certainly also adds to the atmosphere.

The professional pizzaioli at Il Forno work the dough with expert hands and acrobatic finesse. Clients never fail to be amused by watching the dough spin in the air by chefs working it to the desired thickness. Another client favourite are the children classes offered by the chefs, who create pizzas with the little ones to be then eaten with their parents. These pizza classes at Il Forno are held at the restaurant on Sunday mornings.

Il Forno opens at 8am on weekdays and 11am on weekends. It closes at 12am except on Friday and Saturday with extended hours to 2am.

On weekdays from 11:00am to 5:00pm there is a discount of 20% on the menu prices.
