Namib Desert Lodge

Located just 60 kilometers north of Sesriem, the three-star Namib Desert Lodge is only 5 kilometers from the main road and provides easy access to the world’s highest dunes. It is in the Gondwana Namib Park, and borders Namib Naukluft Park.

Namib Desert Lodge offers 76 guestrooms that include 5 family units and 2 single rooms. All of the units are equipped with private bathrooms, rotary fans and mosquito netting.

Namib Desert Lodge Facilities

Dining and beverage options at the lodge include a thatched restaurant and a bar / lounge. Guests can enjoy the complimentary breakfasts that are served each morning. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style and there is a small selection of light lunches that can be ordered on request. The restaurant has a cozy bar that is well-stocked with excellent South African wines. The main building features a hotel reception area, a bar and a large verandah with outside seating for guests. The lodge also has 2 swimming pools. Leisure activities at the lodge include a nightly sundowner dune trip that includes drinks and snacks for guests, and a 2 hour hiking trail to some of the local dunes.
