Opuwo Country Hotel Rooms:

Opuwo Country Hotel has a total of 40 rooms, 21 of which are luxury twin rooms, 1 luxury double room and 6 twin inter leading rooms and 12 standard twin rooms.

All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

All rooms are fitted with air conditioners.

Our Lodge is unfortunately not well-suited for guests in wheelchairs.

The Camp have 12 sites with B-B-Q facilities and communal ablution block, hot & cold running water and electricity points.

Opuwo Country Hotel Restaurants & Bars:

Dining and beverage facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, a bar, a lounge, and a wine cellar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are usually served buffet style, but there is also an 'a la carte' menu. Snacks can be ordered throughout the day. Guests can choose to dine in the restaurant or on the pool terrace. The restaurant has a wine cellar with an excellent selection of wines. Guests may order packed lunches from the restaurant, but room service is not available.

Swimming pool with deck chairs and umbrellas, bar, restaurant, curio shop and a private relaxing lounge next to the wine cellar.

Special prior arrangement can be made for Honeymooners, anniversaries and birthdays - private dinners, snack baskets and cakes.

Activities:

Himba excursion – 3 hour guided excursion to traditional Ovahimba villages to experience their culture and traditions. Our guides also act as translators. Capacity on excursion is minimum 2 pax and maximum 50 pax.

Epupa Falls excursion – This is a full day excursion with picnic lunch on the banks of the Kunene river. Capacity on excursion is minimum 4 pax and maximum 18 pax.

Self drive to the Uukwaluudhi reserve in your own 4x4 vehicle and do a 3 hour game drive with the possibility of seeing Black Rhino, Hyena, Black-faced Impala and a variety of antelope species and prolific bird life.
