Tsumkwe lodge offers affordable en-suite accommodation facilities. The lodge is your ideal base from where to explore Bushmanland's pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife within the Nyae Nyae Conservancy and Khaudum National Park.

The half or full day Bushman Village activities add to the cultural aspect of this unique area.

Our lodge offers a total off 25 rooms of which 20 is canvas twin rooms, 1 Double room and 4 conventional stone twin rooms.

All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

All rooms are fitted with fans.

Our Lodge is unfortunately not well-suited for guests in wheelchairs.

The Camp site offers 5 sites with B-B-Q facilities, communal ablution blocks with hot & cold running water and electricity points at each camp site.

Tsumkwe Lodge offers a swimming pool, bar, restaurant under a thatched lapa and curio shop.

Small general dealer and fuel station in town under our management.

Activities:

Cultural excursions to San Bushman villages are conducted from the lodge in our vehicles and under the guidance of our guides. Study how the Bushmen trek spoor, hunt game, make weapons and gather food in the wild – Bookings are required one day in advance.

Join one of our 4x4 excursions to “Hol Boom” and the Nyae Nyae Pans and experience the abundant bird life (over 300 recorded species) and diverse fauna & flora of the area. Herds of antelope and elephant can be seen close to the pans edge. Guided walking trails are conducted with Bushmen guides through the veld. Full day excursions in to the Khaudum National Park can be done on a self-drive basis. Minimum of two vehicles is required if guests want to drive through Khaudum Park.
