Solitaire Country Lodge Accommodation:

The lodge offers a total of 27 rooms, which include 23 Twin rooms, 2 family rooms with double beds and sleeper-couches (sleeps 5), 2 twin Guide rooms.

All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

All rooms are fitted with fans.

Our Lodge is unfortunately not well-suited for guests in wheelchairs.

Campsite offers B-B-Q facilities, ablution blocks, hot & cold running water (only 5 campsites have electricity points).

Solitaire offers a large swimming pool, bar, restaurant, bakery curio shop, small general dealer and fuel station.

Special prior arrangement can be made for Honeymooners, anniversaries and birthdays - private dinners, snack baskets and cakes.

24 hrs electricity available.

Credit card facilities available: Master & Visa and European cards.

Gravel / Sand airstrip Co-ordinates S23.53 E.016.01. Prior arrange is necessary for your pick-up from the airstrip.

Activities:

Two non-guided walking trails- distance between 3.5km to 8km. The trails are clearly marked with interesting information of the plants and trees on the route.

Join our Sun-downer drive and relax with an ice cold Gin & Tonic with some snacks while the sun set over the oldest desert in the world.

Stargazing on request.
