Fox On The Quay looks right out across to Napier Sailing Club and the waters beyond, with floor-to-ceiling windows letting light flood the restaurant all day every day. Diners can sit outside, or settle into the plush, modern interior, where tables are spacious with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The menu is varied, everything from tapas and brunch to a full a la carte dinner menu. Sharing plates include prawn skewers, bruschetta and green shell mussels, whilst brunch offers sweet treats like yoghurt pancakes or some filling fresh seafood. The dinner dishes are beautifully-prepared, the look alone deserving a Michelin star or three. Try the Trio of Vegetable Tarts or Crayfish Tortellini for starters, then the Roasted Venison Denver Leg or Fish of the Day on Cream of Smoked Eel.
