Cavells Café & Bar is a Queenstown institution and has been providing both locals and visitors not just with amazing food and drink, but picturesque views of the city's mountains and rivers. Situated at Arthur's Point, by Old Cavells Bridge, next to Shotover Jet, the cafe has ample gardens in which you can sit and enjoy an all day breakfast, a tender steak burger, cake & coffee, or their daily specials in the cabinet – something for everyone.

Kids will love the space here, so mum and dad will appreciate being able to stretch out and relax with a glass of local wine, while the little ones run around in the sunshine, working up an appetite for their “Hot Diggerty Dog” lunch. Your hostess, Maryann, guarantees a warm welcome, and the late night Fridays are particularly popular, with Cavells enjoying a reputation as one of Queenstown's most vibrant venues.

Live music is a regular event through the summer months, and there's really nothing better than sitting back in the garden, overlooking the Shotover River and surrounded by mountains, as you enjoy antipasto platter and a a glass of wine to the sound of some laid back Sunday jazz and blues.
