Matakana Market

The Matakana Farmers Market is a popular market held every Saturday from 8.00am -1.00pm. Live music, local produce and a beautiful setting in the countryside. It's an ideal place to grab a tasty brunch and browse the choice of cheese, meats, fish, bread and enjoy the bustling atmosphere with like-minded visitors.


Rotorua Market

Enjoy a great takeaway at the Rotorua Street Market which is held every Thursday from 5.00pm - 9.00pm. The best food can be found on the street from a number of local restaurants and suppliers showcasing thier cuisine. Try the foot long hotdogs or one of the Indian currys on offer.  


Auckland Fish Market  

Head down to Jellicoe Street in Auckland's CDB on a Thursday night and you'll be greeted by a market that's jumping with flavour and activity. The live Jazz music creates a welcoming atmosphere as you browse the range of European, artisan and local gourmet cuisine that you can sample. The Auckland Fish Market includes indoor and outdoor eating outlets.


Thames Market 

The Thames Market on Pollen Street is a picturesque spot on the Coromandel with a diverse supply of local produce to choose from. The market serves up fruit and vegetables, cheeses, breads, cold meats and those sweet treats of cakes and cookies. There's also plenty of soaps and creams to pamper yourself and a decent selection of arts and craft stalls.


Christchurch Farmer`s Market

Held every Saturday from 9.00am until midday in the stunning grounds of Riccarton House, the Christchurch Farmers' Market showcases the very best produce from the local suppliers. This is your chance to support local growers, butchers, bakers, wine producers and brewers.


Mount Maunganui Mainsteet Farmers Market

With a gorgeous beach and stunning views, the Mount Maunganui Farmers Market is a lovely addition to your visit to the area.  The weekly Farmers' Market is held every Sunday in the Phoenix car park starting at 9.00am until 1.00pm. The rules are simple - all fare on offer is either homegrown or homemade. It's the perfect way to start your day at the beach.


Bay of Islands Farmer`s Market

The beautiful setting of Paihia, with its golden beaches, warm waters and sunshine, is an ideallic spot for a weekly market. Held every Thursday,  the Bay of Islands Farmers' Market is your chance to buy the freshest food, either locally grown or produced direct from the grower or producer. Head to the Village Green, 60 Marsden Road between 2.00pm and 5.30pm.


Wellington Harbourside Market  

Situated on the corner of Cable Street & Barnett Street right next to Te Papa Museum, the Wellington Harbourside Market is held every Sunday from 7.30am - 2.00pm. The market is a chance to stock up on all the goodies grown by local producers. Fine foods, cheeses, breads, fresh fruit and vegetables and options for a hearty brunch await visitors and locals.


Auckland City Farmers Market 

The Auckland City Farmers Market is a food market with strirct guidlines - vendors are only allowed to sell items that are grown, farmed, baked, smoked or caught by  themselves from within a defined local area.  Head down to Gore Street (just behind the Britomart Trainstation) on a Saturday between 8.30am and 12.30pm.


Queenstown Weekly Market

Held every Saturday, the Creative Queenstown Art & Craft Market benefits from the stunning waterfront location of Earnslaw Park. The market is your chance to meet local artists displaying their wares while enjoying the live music and incredible setting. From Nov 1st to 30 April, the market is open from 9.00am to 4.30pm. From May 1st to 31 Oct it’s open from 10.00am to 3.30pm.

Fielding Farmers' Market

Enjoy all your favourite market delights at the Fielding Farmers Market, that's just 20km north of Palmerston North.  Held every Friday from 9.00am - 2.00pm this market came third in the 'Best Farmers market 2011 Taste Awards'.
