Sunshine and blue skies are the norm in Oman’s desert climate. The summer months (from April to October) are hot and humid while the wonderful winter months are much cooler and less humid. Winter temperatures average between 25°C and 35°C during daytime and down to around 17°C at night.

The monsoon season brings mist and rain to the southern parts of the country from June to September while the capital area welcomes the odd rain shower in the winter months.
