My Destination Ontario is part of the My Destination network. A global network of sites created in 2006 by two young entrepreneurs, James Street & Neil Waller. My Destination is focused on providing websites that offer unrivalled levels of local information, actually written by locals. Each site is run by a team on the ground in each destination who have their fingers on the pulse and are providing real time information. The websites combine accurate information on the local area and businesses with the added usability of an online booking engine, offering travellers a one-stop shop where they can research and book their holiday on a single website.

Heading up My Destination Ontario - Frank Bella

Frank was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and moved to Toronto, Ontario at a young age. Having spent his whole life in the Greater Toronto Area, Frank is very familiar with the region and the province. Over the past 30 years, he has worked in the retail pharmacy industry in various capacities with all the major retailers in Canada. During these years he made it into every nook and cranny of the province. Two years ago he started his own brokerage/consulting company, which specializes in independent pharmacy acquisitions. His wife Leslie was born and raised in the Toronto area. She is a self-employed occupational therapist working in brain injury rehabilitation. She works with both children and adults and loves her work.

While these have been and will continue to be successful careers, both would like to get involved in something that sparks their passion and travel has always been important to them. Their explorations have taken them through Asia, Europe, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Australia and extensively throughout North America. Experiencing other cultures, seeing the land and tasting the food and wine are things they both enjoy. They love Canada's vastness and diversity which offers many great adventures. They look forward to sharing the uniqueness of Ontario with travelers throughout the world.
