Situated between the Niagara Escarpment and Georgian Bay, with easy access to Collingwood and just a 90 minute drive from Toronto, Blue Mountain Ski resort, Ontario's largest mountain resort and four season getaway, attracts more than 1.5 million visitors each year.
Winter Season
With over 36 well-groomed trails, 2 challenging terrain parks, and one Super Pipe, this 720 foot mountain is accessible to ski and snowboarders of various levels of ability. Newcomers can take advantage of special learn to ski/snowboard rates which include lift ticket, rental, and a short lesson. Accomplished snow legends, refine your mountain descent with any of Blue Mountains skill enhancement classes.
With 24 lighted night tracks and armed with the largest snow-producing system in Canada, Blue Mountain is prepared to stretch your snow days further into the season and later into the night. With open mountain hours from 9am to 10pm, skiers can choose to enjoy a panoramic view of The Village at Blue Mountain set against a blue skyline or starry backdrop.
Blue Mountains new all-season mountain coaster, Ridge Runner, opens this winter as the first of its kind in Ontario. Ridge Runner sends the rider down a 1000m winding track with the ability to control the speed of descent. Choose between a peaceful scenic 'drive' over untouched snow or coax your personal coaster to its 42km/hr max speed.
For specific ski conditions, open mountain lifts, and special ski weeks at Blue Mountain, visit their website for the most up to date information and access to their interactive trail map and 24hr web cam.
Green Season
As snow is something of a rarity in the summer months, Blue Mountain evolves with the season and turns its attention from winter wonderland to summer rush. Drop your skis and pick up a mountain bike, golf club, or tennis racket - just a few examples of what you'll find on offer this summer at Blue Mountain.
