Walking is a great way to get some exercise while on vacation, and it's usually something most travellers end up doing a lot of no matter which activities they participate in. Museums, parks, malls, festivals, and more - they all involve walking!
By signing up for an organized walking tour, however, not only do you get exercise, you also have the opportunity to metaphorically sit back and let someone else do the sometimes-stressful work of navigating.
