A common consideration that needs to be taken when visiting Orlando (or anywhere in the U.S. for that matter) is whether or not you will need to apply for a Visa in advance. Citizens of a vast majority of the countries in the world will be required to apply for Visas, but some may not. We've created this page to give you more info on this matter.

International visitors to Orlando will need a B-2 (Tourist) Visa to gain entry into the United States if their stay is going to be 90 days or less. There is an exception to getting this Visa if you are from a qualified country and meet the requirements the U.S. imposes. To obtain a Visa to the U.S. you must demonstrate that you do not wish to move here permanently, that you have a vacation plan and the funds to make that plan happen, that you are staying for a set time, and that you have residence outside the U.S. and have ties that will ensure you return. To apply for a Visa you must apply with the U.S. embassy or a U.S. consulate and must have a valid passport.

The United States has made it possible for the citizens of 36 designated countries (shown below) to gain entry into the United States without a Visa through the Visa Waiver Program. After approval through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), which is a system that checks the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States, people from these countries are able to travel to the U.S. for 90 days or less without a Visa. This program was made to simplify the process of entering the U.S. by easing barriers of travel.
