Paris Weather

Paris is located in North of Europe and experiences very few extreme weather conditions. It is not known as a wet and rainy city but when it does rain it can often pour. A raincoat is a must whatever the time of year.

However you have a better chance of getting bright sunny days with blue skies in December as a short downpour in July but always best to be prepared. A brief summary below on what to expect from season to season may help you.

Being traditionalists the French have festivals, cultural events and celebrations all across Paris during all seasons so check out our Events calendar and Best Time to Visit Paris page for more information.
