Thailand has eight international airports currently in Chang Mai, Chang Rai, Hat Yai,Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang , Samui , Phuket and U-Tapao. Many provincial cities also have domestic airports. In this region the domestic airports are Chantaburi, Chonburi, and Trat.

U Tapao International  Airport
This small airport i capable of landing large passenger jets , mainly because it has been a staging point for the US and Thai Airforce commands in the region. It lies between Sattahip and Rayong and is only 35 Minutes by car from Pattaya City.
The Airport operates and receives daily flights from Samui, Phuket, Siem Riep, Moscow and Incheon; as well as charter flights other European cities.
