Both the Thai and the Italian chef prepare dishes with both traditional and contemporary flavours, the same way as they would in their own homes. The restaurant is in a magnificent setting on Ao Nang Beach, overlooking the Andaman Sea so don't forget to join us for the perfect sundowners at sunset! Payom Lorvanich is the executive chef of Sala Bua's Thai kitchen and was once Head Chef of Assumption University, Rayong. Cooking at Sala Bua has allowed her to express more creativity and style. Umberto Barbieri is the award-winning executive chef of Lo Spuntino's Italian kitchen and was trained in a series of international hotels. He opened his own restaurant, Casa Carina, in the Piedmont region of Italy at the age of 23, and won the prestigious Duja D’Or for 4 consecutive years. Opening Times: 11:00-22:30 in high season (December - April) 17:00-22:00 in low season (May - November)
