New Town-Wenceslas Square Information

      Nove Mesto or New Town is one of the prime locations in the whole city. Covering a large area it takes in the magnificent boulevard which is Wenceslas Square where the commercial heart of the city beats with its abundance of hotels, shops, pubs and commercial centres not forgetting the spectacular edifice of National Museum at its highest point.

      Turning off the Square at its lower end New Town continues to both the left and right where among the many splendid buildings and landmarks one encounters must be mentioned Narodni St crowned by the spectacular National Theatre, Charles Square and the New Town Hall, and indeed right down at the river and along it for some considerable distance New Town continues passing by the much talked about postmodern masterpiece Dancing House.
