Hergetova Cihelna Restaurant

Restaurant Hergetova Cihelna, which is situated in magical Mala Strana (Little Quarter), is one of the most outstanding restaurants in the whole city. Foremost is the location right beside the Vltava River with wonderful unobstructed views to Charles Bridge and the scenery around it. It is very popular both with local Czech people and with visitors because of the superb cuisine and the surprisingly reasonable prices.

Some of their specialities are a real favorite such as the fresh seafood dishes, and the ever-popular Tempura Fried Tuna with wasabi-potato purée. For those who would like to sample the highest of Czech cuisine try the Duck Confit with crispy potatoes or delicious Veal Cheek with spinach spatzle. For those visitors who really like an original and very tasty burger the Head Chef Petr Lastovicka has perfected the Burger Royal with foie gras, onion compote, trufflee mayonaise, onion rings, and homemade fries.

The atmosphere which is always lively and friendly is complemented by the astonishing design, which is the work of Bara Skorpilova. The restaurant has four distinct parts: the terrace, main restaurant, the bar and lounge area on the first floor. What is also unique about the restaurant is that it is very family oriented because they offer not only a special children's menu, but also facilities for children's parties and Sunday Brunch.

Because of the ample size of Hergetova Cihelna it is perfectly functional as a place for large get-togethers such as wedding parties, celebrations, anniversaries and business meetings.

Parking cards are available in the restaurant. These have to be purchased cash for the price of 120 CZK and enable their user to park in the blue zones of Prague 1 for the period of 120 minutes.
