Planet Sushi Restaurant

INTRODUCTION:

Planet Sushi is the dream come true of one excellent Czech chef who travelled to Tokyo and fell in love with the country which has given us samurais, sake, and pagodas. This fascinated him but not as much as that which captured his heart the most which was the sushi and so it is that he has opened his very own excellent restaurant here in Prague which he has named Planet Sushi. It is a marvelous and daring place and really does evoke the spirit of Tokyo and its incredibly tasty and tempting cuisine, most of all of course the unforgettable sushi. They are open every day and already, although it is in operation just a short few years, it has garnered a very positive reputation.

CUISINE AND SPECIALITIES:

One has no idea just how imaginatively prepared sushi can be, unless one has been to Japan. until one visits Planet Sushi. The skills of the chefs is something to savour and be sure to sample at least one or two preparation. There are of course so many other offerings besides and these include the delicious Soup starters, the Wok, the Sashimi, the Maki, the Salads, and some very tempting Desserts. For many the joys of Japanese cuisine are really waiting to be discovered at a restaurant such as this one. Drinks lovers will love to wind down their evening with a glass or two of genuine sake.

ATMOSPHERE AND STYLE:

The interior of the restaurant is an intimately lit and very elegantly laid out area where the staff are ready to welcome you in english or czech. Comfortable seating and wooden furnishings complement the space while red is one of the primary colours. The space is not too big but can neatly accommodate couples or even larger groups. A pleasant ambience suffuses the place with low music playing which adds perfectly to the pleasance of the mood. At lunchtime when the working crowd come in for the Midday Menu can be an opportunity also for you to get a feeling for the place and to enjoy some very good value.

FURTHER INFORMATION:

Planet Sushi is to be found just a little outside of the centre of Prague but nevertheless it is simple to find, has good transportation connections, and most of all it is well worth it. They open from 11am till 11pm daily. Reservations are welcome but normally without one there will always be space for you here. They are at nadrazni St number 155 in Smichov district which is just a 15 minute tram ride from the centre on the number 9. Alternatively you can take the metro to Andel stop from where it is a short walk. if the distance or the location doesn't suit you then Planet Sushi can bring the food direct to your doorstep by means of their rapid delivery service. Or if you are in the area you can pick it up at their restaurant and bring it home.
