The place is easy to find as it is down the street from the Sheraton Old San Juan and close to the Bus Terminal. Be sure to look for the gentleman wearing the jesters hat roaming Old San Juan handing our free tourist maps, by the way the guy in the hat is also the owner of Punto de Vista Restaurant. He is passionate about the quality of the food and he and his friendly staff will make you feel extremely welcomed. They love telling tourists about Puerto Rico and all it has to offer from an insiders perspective.
They proudly promote their Mofongo Relleno as the best in Old San Juan, this traditional Puerto Rican favorite is hand-made to order with your choice of Chicken, Shrimp, Pork or Churrasco (Argentinean Skirt Steak) and comes with a fresh garlic sauce or their unique sauté in a White Wine Mango Peach Criolla sauce that will please you beyond your expectaions.
Punto de Vista Restaurant in Old San Juan often features a $14.00 dinner special of a 14oz fork tender Churrasco (Skirt Steak) slow cooked on the grill topped with a remarkable fresh Chimmichurri Sauce or a Tamarind Sauce. All entrees include a wide variety of side dishes.
Also on the menu are some great Fish Tacos, "Churrasquitos" Skirt Steak Tacos with a raspberry chipotle reduction, Hamburgers stuffed with cheese and a variety of appetizers at affordable prices.
