March 2011 It is so gooood......
Bernadette M. Stepney-Ferguson from Las Vegas, NV
We were looking for a restaurant that had local food, and local man saw us looking around for the restaurant we had heard about, but he directed us to this one. We are so glad that he did. The atmosphere was great, the service was good but the food was WONDERFUL! My husband and I would return here again and we would highly recommend it. Don't forget to try the Mofongo and ASK for the sauce that goes with it. You won't be sorry.

July 2010 Excellent Puerto Rican Food!
Alfredo Ramos from Teaneck, NJ
Had lunch with my friend today at El Jibarito in Old San Juan. I had the Biftec Ensebollado which is a cube steak with onions. I was blown away by the tenderness of the meat I was able to cut it with a fork. The taste was superb. My friend had chicken in a breadfruit sauce that was also very good. Service was friendly, prices were good and the room was comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
