Located in historic Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, Cinema Bar 1950 transports guests looking for a unique place to eat in Puerto Rico back into the artsy decade of the 50's. Set in Cuartel de Ballajá and within walking distance of Castillo San Felipe del Morro and other popular historic sites Cinema Bar 1950 is a must visit.
The concept for Cinema Bar 1950 can be found no other place in Puerto Rico; excellent Puerto Rican Food, Signature Drinks and coming very soon a Cinema Theatre that will feature showings of independent International and Local Films. Once opened you will be provided with table service in the theatre and bottle service in the VIP Area.
Cinema bar serves typical Puerto Rican Cuisine with a flair, the menu offers a nice selection of favorites if you cannot choose there are samplers available. Try the Yunque Burger or if you are in the mood to share the Country Style Rice. The Seafood is always fresh and meats grilled to perfection. One of our favorites is the Chicken Fricassee, slowly cooked chicken made with 'sofrito' and local beer... very good.
The Bar serves up a variety of signature Mojitos and specialty cocktails with names like 'Taxi Driver', 'Amores Perros', 'Cinema Paradiso' and, well you get the idea...
Every Saturday is 'Latin Roots' night where you can dance to Salsa Music and enjoy 2 X1 Happy Hour.
