Climate

Rajasthan can be loosely divided into three climatic seasons: summer, winter and monsoon.

The summer season extends from April to June and is extremely hot, with temperatures varying between 32C - 45C.

The monsoon season runs from July to September. There is a drop in temperature, but a significant increase in humidity, not to mention a fair bit of rain.

September to March sees the coming and going of winter, and this is the best time to visit. The days are pleasantly warm and the nights cool. January is the coolest month.
