If you go to B5 you should start your night there, as the line tends to get longer by the minute during the weekend
B5 bar/bistro has become a very popular establishment with the locals of the capital. What has made it so popular is the fact that b5 is a multifunctional establishment - café, bar, bistro and even a private club. B5 also offers a menu of international dishes at a decent price.
As you walk in you will find a very contemporary and stylish interior. That theme continues all the way down to the second floor where you´ll find the remains of an old bank outlet that once occupied the location.
During daytime b5 is a much laid back place. As you relax, feel free to take a look at b5´s library where everybody can find something to leave through while sipping a cup of Joe. Library titles include: Cool Brands by Karen Dugdale, Waking up in Iceland by Paul Sullivan and American Odyssey by Mary Ellen Mark.
As night falls, the lights dim and the atmosphere changes accordingly. The main area usually turns to a dance floor so that people that are walking in or out are forced to dance their way through the crowd.
If you like to have a bit more privacy we suggest you get yourself a table in the b5 lounge that is located one floor down. You are required to buy at least one bottle of alcohol to get in there but for many, it´s very much worth it.
For an even more exclusive night we recommend the Whiskey Room located in the vault of the old bank.
