Solon, often refered to as Café Solon, is located on the intersection of Bankastræti and Laugavegur an area knows by locals as the heart downtown.

Solon is a café, bistro, bar and a club – all depending on when you drop by. Solon offers a light tasty menu and only use the freshest of ingridients. Fresh fish, salads, vegeterian dishes, tapas and other small dishes are among the many delightful dishes avaliable.

Coffee, cakes and smaller dishes are popular during the middle of the day as guests relax while browsing though the newspapers or take advantage of the wireless internet connection.

As night falls on weekends this usually relaxed place turns into one of Reykjaviks hottest clubs where the party is never cut-short. On the upper floor you will find a dancefloor packed with party hungry locals ans tourists alike.
