Located in one of Reykjavik´s oldest houses and the first house to be numbered by city back in 1888 when houses were first numbered in the Icelandic capital. This historic house has served as warehouse, textile store, airline offices and today hosts one of Reykjavik´s finest restaurant, bar and conference center.

Restaurant Reykjavik specializes in hosting groups of all sizes and can offer great private areas for extra privacy. They also have a variety of group menus so that everyone can find something to their liking.

The a la carte menu includes starters, light courses, fish, meat, hot rock menu and deserts. The fish section is specially attractive with items such as halibut, salmon and monk fish prepared in various ways.

Restaurant Reykjavik offers a daily fish buffet that has hot and cold fish items along with salad and bread for only 4.700 Isk. The fish buffet is available everyday from 6pm.

Aside from the cozy atmosphere and great menu Restaurant Reykjavik also has another great attraction, The Ice Bar. The Ice Bar is located below the restaurant and is completely made out of ice. Before you enter you will be handed a coat to wear while in the bar. This bar is truly something else and defiantly worth trying.
