Listaselið

Reykjavik

Icelandic design

Listaselið art gallery, which opened in the year 2000, is owned and operated by 6 women artists who each design different items and then sell them in the store. Each day of the week you will meet a different one of the designers, working in the store. Their names are Guðbjörg Magnúsdóttir, Harpa María Gunnlaugsdóttir, Helena Sólbrá Kristinsdóttir, Ólöf Sæmundardóttir, Þóra Einarsdóttir, Brynja R Guðmundsdóttir.

Their wares include fishleather handbags, stone statues, paintings, jewelry made of Icelandic stones, glass art and leather bracelets, to name a few. The designer-owned nature of the place ensures that every item you purchase there is absolutely unique and of the highest handcraft quality. They are in the heart of the city so it's easy to include a visit in your downtown shopping day.
