The exhibition, "Tutto Fellini" gathers approximately 400 items that reveal the universe of Italian film maker Federico Fellini (1920-1993). Backstage pictures, dated magazines, posters, interviews, drawings made by the director himself and excerpts of films comprise this exhibition that shows many documents never published before. With curator Sam Stourdzé, director of Musée de l'Elysée museum, in Lausanne, Switzerland, this retrospective has already been displayed in Paris, San Sebastian, Moscow and Toronto.

In addition to the exhibition, there is going to be films created by Fellini shown at the Instituto Moreira Salles film theatre. There are going to be more than 20 films, among them his first feature film entitled Variety Lights (1950), and also Nights of Cabiria (1957), I clowns (1970), La strada (1954), Juliet of the Spirits (1965), The White Sheik (1952), Ginger and Fred (1986), 8 ½ (1963).

During the Tutto Fellini exhibition, every Friday, at 2 pm (14:00), IMS-RJ is going to provide a showing of a Fellini film (free admission) with expert commentary. On 16 March, José Carlos Avellar, critic and curator of the IMS film schedule, is going to provide commentary on Nights of Cabiria. On 23 March, Avellar and Teresa Azambuja are going to lecture after the showing of Tobby Dammit (1968), an episode of extraordinary Tales, which also has two other episodes directed by Roger Vadim and Louis Malle. On 30, March, Avellar and Teresa are going to comment on the Temptations of Mr. Antonio (an episode of Boccaccio 70).

Additionally, on 17 March (Saturday), at 4 pm (16:00), Professor Hernnani Heffner, noted film maker, is going to comment on the film Prova d’Orchestra (1978). This last session is going to be charged. The full program of the film festival can be found on the website www.ims.com.br
